THE BELLS ARE NOW HUNG AND RINGABLE AND RINGING IS NOW ALLOWED
The Bellflowermews were originally cast as a light peal of 6 bells around 2006. After some problems with the clappers, they were smashed up and a heavy peal of four bells were cast in 2009 weighing 12lb. Then in 2015 a new tenor bell was cast making them a peal of 5 bells. Then in 2018 a new tenor was cast to make the bells a peal of 6 and are set to be rung for the first time as a peal of 6 in late June 2018. The front 4 bells have been put in a new frame and bells 5 and 6 are having a separate frame. The bells were sold in May 2018 as they were rarely rung and are set to be hung in Haywards Heath, Sussex. The bells are always available for visiting bands, peal or quarter peal attempts.
